The Museum of Zitny Ostrov was founded in 1964 and took contact with traditions of the museum at Šamorín. The building of the so-called Yellow Mansion House was built at the order of Miklós Kondé, the bishop of Varadín, in the 18th century. The building was finished in 1770 and it was rebuilt in the classicist style at the beginning of the 19th century. The permanent exhibition today consisted from 11 thematic units. Is here part archeological and palaeontological, historical and ethnological.

Europe Place, built in 2001, purporting to represent buildings from all parts of Europe. Europe Palace is linked by entrance gates: the gate of St. Stephen, the gate of Belo IV, and the gate of Mary Theresa. The gate of Mathew I opens from the side of the inner park of the Zichy Palace. The gate of Mathew I is one of the landmarks of the Courtyard. With its shape and colours, it reminds the buildings built during the reign of Mathew I.
