The Museum of Zitny Ostrov
The Museum of Zitny Ostrov was founded in 1964 and took contact with traditions of the museum at Šamorín. The building of the so-called Yellow Mansion House was built at the order of Miklós Kondé, the bishop of Varadín, in the 18th century. The building was finished in 1770 and it was rebuilt in the classicist style at the beginning of the 19th century. The permanent exhibition today consisted from 11 thematic units. Is here part archeological and palaeontological, historical and ethnological.
